On household expenditure

The expenditure share on transport was relatively higher for the highest quartile expenditure group but

broadly similar in the other quartile expenditure groups.

 

Households with a larger number of earners generally spent a higher percentage of total expenditure on

clothing and footwear, transport and miscellaneous services, and a lower proportion on housing.
